Bezos claims that Blue Origin will be the key player in the climate change battle

Billionaire Jeff Bezos defended himself against those who say the Amazon founder has not utilized his enormous wealth to address issues on Earth by praising his private space company Blue Origin as a significant player in the fight against climate change.

Bezos's path to space is a long-term objective, according to Bezos in his speech at the Vatican on October 14, which is to relocate all polluting businesses off of the Earth. "That road is lengthy, and I won't live to see its completion. That torch will need to be picked up by someone else. However, I want to make every effort to create a space road. So that the person who follows has an easier experience than I had." After taking off on the first-ever Blue Origin space flight personally last year, Bezos came under intense scrutiny and some ridicule.

While receiving the Galileo Prophets of Philanthropy Award at the Vatican, Bezos made the statements. The billionaire runs the "Bezos Earth Fund," which is dedicated to tackling climate change, in addition to his work with Blue Origin and Amazon.

Bezos claimed that since he was young, he has desired "to develop a way to space." He also responded directly to those who attacked his side endeavor as a waste of money that should have been used to assist those in need.

"Some ask me why? I guess. When there are so many issues on Earth that need to be resolved, why spend so much money in space? said Bezos.

Bezos continued, "We go to space not to leave our home, but to guard it. Think about energy. Since the sun always shines in space, we can virtually endlessly store energy there. Without endangering the Earth, it is possible to gather and use energy and other resources in space. Earth should be maintained like a garden.
